Riverbend Clubhouse provides a focal point, both visually and socially, for the unique community which it serves. The Clubhouse has been strategically placed to be a landmark from the golf course which surrounds it; particularly from the 9th and 18th hole approaches. The Clubhouse entrance addresses the street and is expressed by a generous canopy extending over the driveway, with the arched windows of the Library and Board Room on either side. Addressing the golf course is a very large covered roof terrace opening off the major Dining and Lounge spaces on the upper floor. The lower floor is linked to the Pro Shop by a covered arcade; to provide convenient access as well as to visually integrate the two facilities. The exterior design of the building is intended to convey an image of casual elegance; both distinct from and compatible with the residential streets and homes which surround it.
The RiverBend Clubhouse takes advantage of its setting to offer spectacular views of the surrounding residential community, the golf course, and the natural environment of the river which wraps the development. It is designed to become a vibrant part of the experience of living at RiverBend; encouraging use by members of the community and their guests year round.
